Caprese salad with basil and dried herbs

The birthplace of the lettuce is the picturesque island of Capri, located in the Gulf of Naples, but in the midst of summer, when fragrant basil and a bright tomato ripened in our beds, we can please our family and friends with an easy-to-prepare and incredibly tasty Caprese salad.

Ingredients
  • large ripe tomato 1 pc.
  • mozzarella ball in brine 125 g
  • a few green basil leaves
  • dried italian herbs from kotanyi
  • seasoning 4 peppers from kotanyi
  • extra virgin olive oil 1 tbsp
  • balsamic cream sauce optional 1 tbsp
  • salt optional, but not required

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Slice the tomato into rings and place on a dish
Step 2
Then slice the mozzarella and place one slice on each tomato circle
Step 3
Top with dried Italian herbs and 4 peppers seasoning to taste, add salt if desired
Step 4
Separate the most beautiful leaves from the basil stalks and lay on top of the mozzarella
