Crispy wrinkled potatoes

These potatoes can taste very different if you add different types of herbs and spices to the oil. Try, for example, potatoes with cumin and lemon zest - it's very tasty

Ingredients
  • 24 small potatoes
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic
  • 2-3 sprigs of thyme
  • 100 ml olive or refined vegetable oil
  • salt, freshly ground black pepper

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
While the potatoes are baking, remove the thyme leaves from the stems and add them to a blender glass (the stems are not needed).
Step 2
Crush the garlic, peel, add to the thyme leaves. Pour in about 0.5 tsp. salt and the same amount of pepper, pour in the oil. Whisk the mixture until smooth.
Step 3
Line a baking dish with baking paper or foil. Unfold the baked potatoes, put in a mold. Lightly crush each potato with the bottom of a heavy glass - it should flatten and crack, but not fall apart.
Step 4
Pour the garlic and thyme oil evenly over the potatoes. Increase the oven temperature to 220 ° C and place the dish in the top third of the oven. Bake until crispy, about 12 minutes. Serve hot potatoes.
