French fried sandwiches (toast) with Philadelphia cheese and green apples

Everyone is familiar with toasted bread in an egg in butter, but now try it in combination with Philadelphia cheese, cinnamon, honey and lightly fried apples. It turns out almost a sandwich with ice cream with a piquant sourness. It is ice cream that resembles this cheese when the toast is ready! I cook periodically, otherwise they will beg for this "dessert" for breakfast every day

  • butter 15 g
  • Semerenko apples (peeled, without core, finely chopped into slices. The weight of prepared apples is indicated) 185 g

  • walnut (chopped into 0.5 cm pieces) 20 g
  • ground cinnamon 0.25 tsp

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Everyone is familiar with toasted bread in an egg in butter, but now try it in combination with Philadelphia cheese, cinnamon, honey and lightly fried apples. It turns out almost a sandwich with ice cream with a piquant sourness. It is ice cream that resembles this cheese when the toast is ready! I cook periodically, otherwise my "dessert" will be begging for breakfast every day.
Step 2
Heat a frying pan over medium heat (3.5 out of 6 electric stoves), add chopped walnuts and fry, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and pour into a bowl.
Step 3
Put a 1L thick-walled ladle on medium heat (3.5 out of 6 electric stoves) and heat well, 5-7 minutes. Add butter (15 g), melt, then add the chopped apples. Do not cover with a lid. Stir the apples, spreading the butter over the surface. Stir occasionally, cook for 3 minutes.
Step 4
Add toasted walnuts, apple cider vinegar, sugar, and ground cinnamon over time. Do not cover with a lid. Stir occasionally to spread the liquid evenly over the apples, cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, leave to cool. We will not get fried apples, naturally, we kind of let them in butter, sugar and vinegar. As a result, apples with a pleasant sourness and the smell of vinegar are not felt. The main condition is that by the time they are served, they must be warm, not hot.
Step 5
Heat a heavy-bottomed skillet over medium heat (3.5 out of 6 hot plates), 5 minutes. In the meantime, we make the sandwich filler. In a separate bowl, combine cheese, honey, coffee with a fork until a uniform thick paste (coffee will be in the form of grains, this is normal).
Step 6
In a separate bowl, combine 2 eggs, milk, vanillin and 0.5 tsp. ground cinnamon. Mix with a fork until more or less homogeneous (ignore the cinnamon). Transfer to a flat plate.
Step 7
Mentally divide the cheese mass into 4 parts and spread the bread evenly on one side. Sandwich 2 slices with curd inward, repeat. Now dip the finished sandwich into the egg and milk mixture on 2 sides (external, dry).
Step 8
The serving looks like this: "fried" apples are laid out on a sandwich (topping). The sandwich is eaten with topping. The combination of Philadelphia with freshly toasted bread and sour apples makes this toast amazing.
