Fried rice with ginger and green onions
The classic "poor food" is simply boiled rice fried with spicy vegetables and green onions. But how delicious! Dark sesame oil plays an important role here - its aroma makes any food incredibly appetizing.
Ingredients
- 400 g pre-cooked long grain rice
- 4 cm fresh ginger root
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 large bunch of green onions
- vegetable oil
- dark sesame oil
- soy sauce for serving
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Peel and finely chop the ginger and garlic.
Step 2
Cut the white part of the green onion into thin rings, add to the ginger and garlic. Cut the green part obliquely into 2 cm pieces.
Step 3
In a wok or large skillet over high heat, heat about 3 tbsp. l. vegetable oil. When the oil is almost smoking, add the ginger with garlic and the white part of the green onion, fry for 20 seconds.
Step 4
Add the green onion and after 10 sec. add rice. Fry, stirring, for 2-3 minutes. Season with sesame oil, serve with soy sauce.
