Russian-style meatballs with pasta for a cold autumn day
Ingredients
- meat 500-600 g
- onion 1 pc.
- egg 1 pc.
- salt, pepper (to taste)
- large tomatoes 3-4 pcs.
- HEINZ ketchup 2 tbsp
- garlic 4-5 cloves
- bread crumbs 2-3 tbsp
- durum pasta 1 pack
- what greens you want and what you like 3 branches for decoration
- vegetable or olive oil for frying onions 2 tbsp.
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Put the minced meat in a deep bowl, add the egg, salt and pepper.
Step 2
Finely chop the onion and lightly sprinkle in a frying pan into the palate. quantity of vegetable or olive oil (whatever you like). Cool down.
Step 3
Add the onion to the minced meat. Stir the mixture thoroughly.
Step 4
Form meatballs from the minced meat, roll them in breadcrumbs and put on a baking sheet, previously lined with baking paper and send to the oven until half cooked.
Step 5
At this time, peel the tomatoes (after putting them in boiling water for 3 minutes). Chop into cubes and place in a skillet. Saute lightly, then add HEINZ Garlic Ketchup and finely chopped garlic cloves at the very end. Mix everything thoroughly.
Step 6
Put hard pasta on the stove to cook.
Step 7
Remove the meatballs from the oven, carefully put them in a saucepan and pour the resulting garlic-tomato sauce and simmer them in this sauce for no more than 5 minutes.
Step 8
Serve in the following way: put boiled pasta on the bottom of a plate (or a large dish), and on top - meatballs in tomato-honest sauce, which must be decorated with herbs.
