Spicy watermelon tequila
Watermelon can be eaten like that, but when there is an abundance of this berry, then why not make a cocktail - fragrant, refreshing, invigorating and tasty at the same time. Watermelon tequila with pepper will appeal not only to cocktail lovers, but also to those who do not drink pure strong alcohol.
Ingredients
- 400 ml silver tequila
- half a medium watermelon
- 1 red chili
- juice and zest of 3 limes
- 100 ml sugar syrup
- ice, mint and watermelon wedges for serving
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Remove the seeds from the watermelon, cut off the rind. Place the pulp chunks in a blender, add the chopped chili, lime juice and zest, and sugar syrup. Whisk until smooth.
Step 2
Strain through a sieve into a large jug, pour in tequila, stir well.
Step 3
Fill chilled highball glasses with large pieces of ice, pour in a cocktail, garnish with mint and watermelon wedges.
