Golden crust, white crumb with a slightly moist and light texture. The bread according to this recipe is versatile and goes well with any dish or as a base for a sandwich. This recipe is a lifesaver in the days of strict Orthodox fasting, when even vegetable oil is not allowed to be used in cooking. The recipe is for 500 grams of ready-made bread.
Ingredients
- water 220 ml
- wheat flour 340 g
- salt 1 tsp
- sugar 0.5 tsp.
- dry yeast 1 tsp
