Apple pie with lemon and cinnamon
- flour 200 g
- butter 200 g
- salt 0.5 tsp
- ice water 3 tbsp.
- apples 7 pcs.
- lemon juice 4 tablespoons
- sugar 150 g
- cornstarch 1 tsp
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Cut the butter into small cubes, add salt and flour, grind everything until fine crumbs are formed. Gradually add ice water to the dough. Roll the dough into a ball, wrap with cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Cut the apples into wedges in a deep bowl. Add lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon and cornstarch to them. Mix gently, let the apples sit for 15 minutes.
Divide the dough into 2 parts. Roll out one part and place in a baking dish, put the apples there and pour over the remaining syrup. Roll out the second part of the dough and cover the mold. Pinch the edges well, make several cuts in the middle with a knife. Grease the pie with an egg on top.
Bake for 60 minutes at 180 C. Bon appetit!
