Bagels with poppy seeds and sesame seeds
This is a traditional baking of American cuisine, a close relative of a bagel or bagel, but it is prepared by brewing the dough, and then baked in the oven until golden brown. Bagels are served with different fillings, but the most popular is the soft curd cheese filling with smoked salmon and capers.

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Lightly heat half of the milk over medium heat. Add granulated sugar and yeast to lukewarm milk. When the yeast swells, pour it into a bowl of sifted flour. Next, pour in the olive oil, add a pinch of salt and the other half of the milk. We knead the dough. It should become soft and elastic. Cover the finished dough with a towel and leave in a warm place for 40 minutes.
After this time, we take out the dough from the bowl and sprinkle it with a little flour, knead well. Next, using a donut press, we form future bagels. We put them on a board and cover with a towel, leave them for another 20 minutes in a warm place.
Pour water into a ladle, bring it to a boil and add soda. Put one bagel in boiling water, cook it for 20-30 seconds, turning it over every 10 seconds so that it increases in size. During cooking, it is necessary to turn the future bagel a couple of times. Put the boiled bagels on a clean towel to absorb excess moisture, sprinkle them with poppy seeds and sesame seeds.
We take baking paper and grease it with vegetable oil. Next, put the bagels on the paper and bake them in the oven at 180 ° C for 20 minutes.
