Baked potatoes with poached egg

If you are supposed to have a festive breakfast, decorate the poached egg with a spoonful of red or pike caviar - it's both delicious and beautiful!

Baked potatoes with poached egg
  • 4 large potatoes for baking
  • 4 large C0 eggs
  • 100 g butter + a little more for lubrication
  • smoked paprika
  • salt, freshly ground black pepper


Step 1
Bake the potatoes in advance, in the evening: wash the potatoes with a brush, wrap them in foil and put them in an oven preheated to 200 ° C. Bake until soft, 40-60 minutes.
Step 2
In the morning, remove from the foil, cut crosswise to about the middle, squeeze the sides so that the pulp squeezes out a little, and heat in the oven or in the microwave.
Step 3
For poached eggs, prepare 4 pieces of cling film (you can use baking sleeves) measuring 30x40 cm. Grease the center of each piece with oil and a little salt.
Step 4
Place the prepared piece of film with oil upwards in a bowl, gently break the egg there so as not to damage the yolk, and tie the ends of the film with a bag.
Step 5
Boil water in a saucepan, lower the prepared eggs in the cling film, simmer over low heat for 4 minutes.
Step 6
Melt butter in a saucepan, season with salt, pepper and paprika. Put the potatoes, on the potatoes - poached egg, pour with oil.
