Beets stuffed with cottage cheese and apples
Delicious, light and healthy dish. You can eat at any time of the day.
Ingredients
- medium-sized beets 3 pcs.
- apples 1 pc.
- cottage cheese 9% 5 - 6 tablespoons
- sugar 1 tsp.
- small egg 1 pc.
- ground cinnamon 1 tsp
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Wash and dry the beets. Wrap in foil and bake in a hot oven. Roasting time depends on the size of the beets and your oven. Beets should be soft, but not falling apart.
Step 2
Remove the finished beets from the oven and cool. Carefully cut a groove in each root vegetable with a small sharp knife. Then scoop out some of the pulp with a small spoon to make a glass.
Step 3
For the filling, rub the cottage cheese through a sieve, wash the apple, dry it, remove the seed box. Grind cottage cheese with sugar. Add egg, stir. Cut the apple into small pieces, add to the curd and stir again.
Step 4
Stuff the beets with the resulting filling.
Step 5
Place the beets in a baking dish and sprinkle with ground cinnamon. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 ͦ C for 10 - 15 minutes.
Step 6
Put the finished stuffed beets on a plate and serve. The dish is delicious both warm and cold.
