Biscuit with peaches

A. Dumas in his cookbook defines biscuit as a flat round cake. This French pie is also called the Pie of the Magi. These casseroles are made from wheat flour with yeast, baking powder, salt and sugar. These pies are baked with sweet and salty fillings. I suggest baking a sweet biscuit with peaches.

Biscuit with peaches
  • flour 2 glass (s)
  • baking powder 12 g
  • vegetable oil 0.5 cup (s)
  • boiling water 0.5 glass (s)
  • peaches 3 pcs.
  • brown sugar

Step 1
Combine flour and baking powder, sifted through a sieve. Pour in vegetable oil and boiling water. Knead the dough, put it in a film and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour.
Step 2
After half an hour, take the dough out of the refrigerator and roll it into an even circle. On top of the dough, stepping back from the edge, put peach slices and sprinkle with brown sugar on top.
Step 3
Gently wrap the edges of the biscuit, grease them with a little vegetable oil and sprinkle the edges of the biscuit with sugar a little. Put the biscuit to bake in an oven preheated to 180 ° C until golden brown.
