Delicious tomato and meat sauce is perfect for making pasta, lasagna and other Italian-style dishes.
- tomato paste 150 g
- tomatoes in their own juice 300 ml
- fresh tomatoes 3 pcs.
- ground beef 300 g
- onions 1 pc.
- dry red wine 50 ml
- dried oregano 0.5 tsp
- dried rosemary 0.5 tsp
- dried marjoram 0.5 tsp
- freshly ground black pepper 1 pinch (s)
- fresh green basil sprigs 2 pcs.
- sugar to taste
- salt to taste
- olive oil 3 tablespoons
- garlic cloves 3 pcs.
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Peel, wash, dry onions and garlic with a paper towel. Finely chop the onion and garlic.
Pour olive oil into a skillet and fry the onion and garlic for 5 minutes.
Add minced meat to the pan and fry until brown.
Pour boiling water over fresh tomatoes, peel them off and cut into pieces. If the tomatoes are in their own juice with the skin, then first remove the skin from them too, and then chop.
Put tomato paste, canned tomato sauce and slices of fresh tomatoes into a frying pan to the minced meat fried with onions, mix.
Wash fresh basil, dry, chop finely. Pour dried oregano, rosemary, marjoram, black pepper into the sauce. Add chopped basil, sugar and salt to taste. Pour in red wine, stir.
Cover the pan with a lid and simmer the sauce over low heat for 20-25 minutes. Open the lid and simmer the sauce a little more until thickened.
The sauce is ready. Use it to prepare various Italian dishes.
