Cabbage rolls

Light and tasty dish. Hot can be served for lunch or dinner, cold used as a snack.

Cabbage rolls
  • large leaves of white cabbage 6 - 7 pcs.
  • cottage cheese 9% 200 g
  • processed cheese 1 pc.
  • garlic cloves 2 - 3 pcs.
  • fresh dill 0.5 bunch (a)
  • chicken egg 1 pc.
  • cold boiled water 2 tbsp.
  • salt to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • boning flour
  • vegetable oil for frying


Step 1
Boil cabbage leaves in boiling salted water until soft. Put in a colander, cool. Cut off thickenings from the leaves.
Step 2
Peel the garlic for the filling. Wash the dill, dry it, chop finely. Finely grate the cheese and garlic and mix with the curd. Salt and pepper a little, add dill, mix.
Step 3
Stuff the cabbage leaves and roll into a tube. Shake the egg with water and salt. Dip each tube in the egg mixture and roll in flour.
Step 4
Fry the tubules in oil on all sides until golden brown. Place on a paper towel first to remove excess oil. Then put on a dish and garnish with dill sprigs.
