Chocolate pumpkin pie with caramel crust

We all know pumpkin is one of the most important vegetables in the fall season. Using it, you can prepare such a fragrant, tasty pie: a combination of pumpkin with chocolate, shades of citrus - everything is harmonious in this chocolate-pumpkin pie.

  • grated pumpkin 210 g
  • flour 1 tbsp.
  • egg 1 pc.
  • grated zest of 1/2 orange
  • 1 pinch (s) nutmeg
  • ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp
  • cane sugar 50 g
  • sour cream 150 g
  • wheat flour 90 g
  • powdered sugar 1 tbsp
  • cocoa 25 g
  • cold butter 55 g
  • egg yolk 1 pc.

  • dark chocolate 50 g


Step 1
Grind into crumbs, add egg yolk, if necessary, a couple of tablespoons of cold water. Knead the dough to form a round cake. wrap the dough with cling film and leave in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Step 2
For the filling, mix all the ingredients (you can use pumpkin puree in the filling).

Roll out the dough into a thin layer, put it in a baking dish, form the sides with your hands, prick the dough with a fork, put parchment on top and sprinkle with peas or beans, bake for 20 minutes. remove the parchment and bake for another 5 minutes. cool the base of the pie.
Step 4
Melt the chocolate, pour it over the base of the cake, let it set, then put the filling and cook at 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Sprinkle cane sugar on the cake 10 minutes before cooking and brown on the grill setting.
