Coffee in cezve with halva
The ability to brew coffee in a Turk is an art in itself. And if you add halva sauce to it instead of regular milk, you get a whole plot for breakfast. You will definitely not want to serve any other sandwiches with such a luxurious coffee. Maybe a couple of slices of suluguni to play on the contrast of sweet and salty, and also to emphasize the oriental accent of this unusual drink.
Ingredients
- 40 g ground coffee for a Turk
- 280 ml water
- 100 ml almond milk
- 100 g halva
- 2 slices of suluguni for each serving cup
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Pour the halva with milk, put on the fire and simmer the sauce over low heat for about 10-15 minutes.
Step 2
When the sauce is ready, prepare the coffee in the cezve. Pour into cups and add halva sauce to taste (about 20 g per serving).
Step 3
Serve your coffee with a couple of suluguni slices.
