Herring salad under a fur coat
The salad is prepared with the addition of gelatin to Maheev mayonnaise. It turns out smart, unusual, keeps its shape. Guests will be delighted with such a serving of everyone's favorite salad.
Ingredients
- herring 1 pc.
- beets 2 pcs.
- egg 4 pcs.
- potatoes 3-4 pcs.
- carrots 2 pcs.
- mayonnaise with lemon juice Maheev 1 glass (s)
- gelatin 20 g
- cold water 1/2 glass (s)
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Boil vegetables until tender, boil hard-boiled eggs and cool.
Step 2
Grate all vegetables separately and eggs on a coarse grater.
Step 3
Peel the herring, cut the fillet into small pieces.
Step 4
Dissolve gelatin in 1/2 glass of cold water, let stand for 30 minutes, then heat in a microwave oven for 1 minute (at a power of 750 watts), do not bring to a boil. Combine warmed gelatin with mayonnaise and mix.
Step 5
Lay out the fish layer.
Step 6
Grease liberally with gelatin mixture.
Step 7
Then lay out eggs, potatoes, carrots in layers, smearing with a fairly abundant gelatin-mayonnaise mixture.
Step 8
Put a layer of beets on top and also grease with a gelatin-mayonnaise mixture.
Step 9
Leave in the refrigerator for 4-5 hours, preferably overnight. Turn over before serving. Enjoy your meal!
