Homemade pickled mackerel
An excellent pickled mackerel, tasty and savory thanks to the addition of Mahee mustard seed.
Ingredients
- mackerel 1 pc.
- salt to taste
- olive oil 3 tablespoons
- grained mustard from Maheev 1 tbsp.
- pepper mixture 1/3 tsp

Step 1
Defrost freshly frozen mackerel slightly (but not completely, in which case it is cut well), peel, rinse, wipe with a paper towel.
