Khachapuri on a skewer

Try to find a special grill suluguni in the form of a long sausage, but you can also use a regular smoked one. And as a sauce for such khachapuri, you can serve adjika, grated with feijoa sugar, or any other sauce of your choice.

Ingredients
  • 300 g suluguni
  • 500 g ready-made puff pastry
  • 30 g flour
  • 150 ml mazoni
  • sauces for serving

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Cut the suluguni into rectangular "barrels" (5 cm long, 2-3 cm wide, 3 cm high). Skewer the cheese diagonally longitudinally so that the cheese does not break.
Step 2
Roll out the puff pastry lengthwise, cut in half, roll it into two layers, then cut into rectangles 0.2 cm thick, 6-6.5 cm wide and 47-50 cm high.
Step 3
Wrap one rectangle of rolled dough around the suluguni with an overlap and pinch the edges tightly. Then wrap the resulting structure with another rectangle made of dough.
Step 4
Fry the cheese and dough skewered on the grill until golden brown and cooked.
Step 5
Serve on a wooden board with yogurt and any set of sauces next to it.
