Menemen - Turkish Vegetable Omelet
Ingredients
- chicken egg 2 pcs.
- tomato (large) 1 pc.
- bell pepper 1 pc.
- onion 1/2 pc.
- vegetable oil 2 tbsp
- black pepper (ground) 1 pinch (s)
- red pepper (ground) 1 pinch (s)
- salt
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Prepare all the necessary ingredients, wash the vegetables
Step 2
Cut the pepper not very finely and fry over low heat for 2 minutes
Step 3
Cut the onion into half rings, add to the pepper and fry for 4 minutes
Step 4
Three tomatoes on a grater
Step 5
Add the resulting gruel to the pepper and onion, simmer for 5 minutes under the lid
Step 6
Mix the eggs
Step 7
We add eggs to our vegetables, salt and pepper to taste. Leave to simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally, until all the liquid has evaporated
