Mimosa salad from Givi Khatisov

There are as many recipes for Mimosa salad as there are fish in the sea. Usually, canned salmon or saury are used for its preparation. For this version of Mimosa, we chose halibut and added some cod liver.

Mimosa salad from Givi Khatisov
  • 2 eggs
  • boiled carrots - 50 g
  • homemade mayonnaise - 40 g
  • leaves of any salad - 30 g
  • cod liver - 1 tbsp. l
  • halibut hot-smoked or cold-smoked - 30 g
  • poached egg - 1 pc.
  • freshly squeezed carrot juice - 30 g
  • salt, pepper - to taste


Step 1
Boil the eggs until tender. Separate the yolk from the protein and rub separately.
Step 2
We also grate the boiled carrots.
Step 3
Mix carrots and protein, season with 20 g of mayonnaise.
Step 4
We spread the resulting mass on lettuce leaves, sprinkle with grated yolk. We spread the liver and fish nearby. Put the poached egg on top. Pour the sauce from a mixture of mayonnaise (20 g) and fresh carrot. Season with salt and pepper.
