New year nut cake
This cake was baked by my grandmother when she came to visit, now I bake it for my children. My grandmother used to decorate it with nuts, but I make Christmas trees from mastic.
Ingredients
- egg 2 pcs.
- sour cream 1 glass (s)
- sugar 1 cup (s)
- flour 1 cup (s)
- soda quenched with vinegar 0.5 tsp.
- milk (cream) 1.5 glass (s)
- sugar (cream) 1 cup (s)
- butter (cream) 300 g
- flour (cream) 2 tablespoons
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Fry the nuts and cut with a knife. Prepare the dough. Beat eggs with sugar, add sour cream, soda, quenched with vinegar, flour and half of the nuts. Bake the cake, cut it in two and cool.
Step 2
Prepare the cream. 2 tbsp Mix flour with 0.5 cups of cold milk. Boil 1 glass of milk, add diluted flour and brew the cream, cool, add butter and sugar, beat everything into a foam. Smear the cake with cream and sprinkle with the remaining nuts.
Step 3
This is how I make Christmas trees from mastic. Roll out the mastic, dust it with starch, cut the "snowflakes" into blanks. In the middle of each snowflake, poke a hole with a toothpick and leave to dry and keep their shape.
Step 4
Then roll a pea out of mastic, put it on a toothpick, then put on a snowflake.
Step 5
So, alternating peas and snowflakes of different diameters, create a Christmas tree, stick a cone of mastic on top.
Step 6
Make a decor on the Christmas tree from various sugar sprinkles.
