Pancakes with plum jam and whipped cream

For a decadent breakfast, try this Czech pancake recipe: the combination with whipped cream and plum jam makes it delicious!

Pancakes with plum jam and whipped cream
  • 3 eggs
  • 250 ml sour cream from 20% fat
  • 30 g of sugar
  • 150 g flour
  • 3 g of salt
  • vegetable oil
  • 250 ml heavy (30-35%) cream
  • 90 ml of plum jam
  • ground cinnamon
  • powdered sugar


Step 1
Combine egg yolks with sour cream, sugar, flour and salt and beat well until smooth.
Step 2
Whisk the egg whites until firm peaks, stir into the dough.
Step 3
Heat some oil in a skillet and bake the pancakes over medium heat. Cook for about a minute on each side or until golden brown.
Step 4
Serve with plum jam and whipped cream. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cinnamon on top.
