Phali from champignons
A delicious Georgian dish. Fragrant, satisfying, spicy!
Ingredients
- champignons 300 gr
- onion 1 pc
- walnuts 70 gr
- garlic 2 cloves
- wine vinegar 1 tbsp
- coriander 0.5 tsp.
- fenugreek pinch
- Caucasian herbs Kotanyi 0.5 tsp
- salt to taste
- Kotanyi pepper to taste
- vegetable oil for frying mushrooms
- pomegranate seeds for serving
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Wash the mushrooms, cut into slices and fry with onions until tender. Do not overcook. Keep the mushrooms juicy.
Step 2
Grind the nuts with garlic in a blender. Mix with spices, add mushrooms. Grind everything together. Let it brew for several hours. Taste the next day.
Step 3
Roll balls from mushroom pkhali, flatten slightly, make a depression in which to put pomegranate seeds.
