Pork schnitzel marinated with wasabi

If even desserts are made with wasabi, then it is imperative to cook meat with this hot seasoning. Pork, by the way, goes well with Japanese "mustard" - exactly the same as with the usual.

Pork schnitzel marinated with wasabi
Ingredients
  • 4 pork neck steaks 2 cm thick and 200 g each
  • 1 tube of wasabi (40 g)
  • crackers
  • vegetable oil
  • salt to taste
  • 100 ml soy sauce
  • 1 tsp liquid honey
  • juice and zest of 1 lime
  • half a red chili
  • half green chili

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Beat the meat with the edge of your hand (not with a hammer!) To a thickness of 1 cm, salt and grease wasabi on both sides. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate from 1 hour at room temperature to 8 hours in the refrigerator.
Step 2
For seasoning, slice the chili thinly (peeled or not, optional). Combine lime juice with honey and leftover wasabi, add soy sauce, lime zest and chili. Leave to infuse for at least 1 hour.
Step 3
Heat 2 large pans, pouring 1 cm of oil into them. Roll pork on all sides in panko, pressing it against the meat. Shake off excess crumbs.
Step 4
Cook the meat in oil over medium heat, turning three times, about 2 minutes each. from each side. Serve very hot with hot seasoning.
