Potato salad with beef
If you put a lot of delicious ingredients together, you will definitely get a delicious dish. This rule does not always work if you recall a children's fairy tale about compote, but in the case of our salad, the result is guaranteed to be good. You can choose almost any meat products to your taste - add boiled tongue or boiled pork to the salad, replace dry-cured sausage with semi-smoked sausage, it is important that at least one of the tastes is bright and memorable.
Ingredients
- 500 g small potatoes
- 300 g boiled beef
- 5 stalks of green onions
- small bunch of dill
- 3 pickled cucumbers
- 1 tbsp. l. capers
- 100 g mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp. l. sour cream
- 2 tbsp. l. white wine vinegar
- 1.5 tbsp. l. creamy horseradish
- salt, freshly ground black pepper
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Wash the potatoes with a brush and place in a wide saucepan of boiling salted water. Reduce heat to medium and cook until tender, 20 minutes. Drain the water, cool the potatoes a little, and then peel. Cut into large slices and leave to cool completely.
Step 2
Cut the beef into thin slices and then into wide strips. Chop green onions and dill thinly. Cut the pickled cucumbers into small cubes. Chop the capers.
Step 3
For dressing, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar and horseradish, add capers and pickled cucumbers, stir.
Step 4
Combine potatoes, beef and dill in a large bowl, top with dressing, season with salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Sprinkle salad with green onions before serving.
