Rice salad with fetax
A light salad of rice with vegetables and Hochland's Fetaxa cheese can be made for dinner. It can also be served at a friendly party or on a festive table.
Ingredients
- parboiled rice 0.5 cup (s)
- small cream tomatoes 4 pcs.
- Fetaxa Hochland cheese 100 g
- pitted olives 3 tbsp
- refueling
- mustard oil 3 tbsp
- small onions 1 pc.
- lemon juice 1 tbsp
- freshly ground black pepper 1 pinch (s)
- salt 1 pinch (s)
- sugar 1 pinch (s)
- dried oregano 1 pinch (s)
- basil purple sprigs 1 pc.
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Rinse the rice in running water. Boil 2 cups of water, add salt. Add rice and cook until tender.
Step 2
Throw the finished rice in a colander to drain the water and cool.
Step 3
Wash the tomatoes, dry, cut into thin circles.
Step 4
Put cooled rice in a salad bowl, put circles of tomatoes on top (leave a little).
Step 5
Strain the olives from the liquid and add to the salad bowl (leave a little).
Step 6
Peel the onion, chop finely. Put in a sieve, pour over with boiling water, then cold water.
Step 7
For dressing, combine chopped onion, mustard oil, lemon juice, salt, sugar, pepper, oregano, mix.
Step 8
Remove the Hochland Fetaxu cheese from the brine and cut into small cubes.
Step 9
Pour the dressing over the salad, stir. Place the tomatoes and olives on top, sprinkle with cheese cubes.
Step 10
Decorate the salad with purple basil leaves and serve.
