Shish kebab in eggplant

This delicious way of roasting marinated pieces of meat in eggplant is originally from Georgia. The meat turns out to be juicy, aromatic, the eggplant itself is enriched with a meaty taste, which is only good for it.

Shish kebab in eggplant
  • marbled beef 200 gr
  • eggplant 2 pcs
  • onion 1 pc
  • marinade Maheev barbecue 2 tbsp
  • Ketchup Maheev tomato 1 tbsp
  • vegetable oil 2 tbsp
  • pepper
  • salt
  • parsley for serving


Step 1
Cut a good piece of meat into pieces (I have marbled beef), add Maheev's barbecue marinade and Maheev's tomato ketchup.
Step 2
Cut the onion into half rings and add to the meat. Pepper and mix well. Leave to marinate for one to several hours.
Step 3
Cut a pocket in the eggplant with a sharp knife. Try not to cut through the vegetable !! Salt inside.
Step 4
Stuff the eggplant with pieces of meat. Drizzle over the cut with vegetable oil.
Step 5
Send to an oven preheated to 190 degrees for 40-60 minutes. The larger the eggplant, the longer the baking time.
