Walnut pie
Autumn is the time to harvest walnuts. The recipe for this cake is the most popular of all dessert recipes in recent years. This pie is very difficult, it is very tasty, but at the same time it is not cloying or as harmful as other cakes and pies.
Ingredients
- Vologda butter 80 g
- walnuts 150 g
- fine sugar 150 g
- eggs 3 pcs.
- dark rum 3 tbsp
- honey 1 tbsp
- vanilla extract (optional RUB 0.5 tsp.
- salt 0.25 tsp
- sifted flour 80 g
- cornstarch 1/4 cup (s)
- baking powder 2 tsp
- powdered sugar 1 tbsp
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180C. Collect ingredients.

Brush a 1/4-inch cupcake pan with butter

Grind sugar and nuts in a blender (leave 5 halves for garnish).

Combine the ground nuts and sugar in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly and add butter, eggs, rum, honey, vanilla, salt.

In another bowl, combine sifted flour, cornstarch, and baking powder.

Pour the dry mixture into the first bowl and mix well.
Step 7
Pour the dough into a buttered pan. Bake for 40 minutes.
Step 8
Turn over and cool for 10 minutes
Step 9
Put some powdered sugar in a small saucepan and place 5 walnut halves. Put on low heat and fry for a few seconds in melted powdered sugar, so that the nuts acquire a golden hue. Place the nuts on a warm cake and pour over the honey. Can be decorated with sprigs of red currant
