Whole grain potato pies (yeast-free)

The recipe is dedicated to culinary specialists who prefer colorful homemade pastries based on completely harmless products: kefir, c / z flour and vegetables.

Whole grain potato pies (yeast-free)
  • potatoes (starchy) 400 g
  • onions (medium) 1 pc.
  • sea salt 5 g
  • ground pepper mixture 1 g
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • ground coriander 1 g
  • butter / cream 20 g
  • whole wheat flour 250 g
  • baking soda 2 g
  • sugar 10 g
  • kefir 2.5% 125 ml
  • vegetable oil 15 ml
  • chicken egg 1 pc.
  • cumin 2 g


Step 1
Boil peeled and washed potatoes, chop the onion and fry until golden brown. Mash the softened potatoes with onion, oil and spices (salt + pepper + nutmeg + coriander) to the desired consistency. It is convenient to use a mashed potatoes.
Step 2
Prepare the dough: sift flour and soda into a deep bowl, add salt, sugar, cumin. Pour the liquid ingredients into the dry mixture and knead to a homogeneous smooth dough. It is advisable to wrap it in foil and leave for 30 minutes.
