Yeast pie with cabbage

The most delicious autumn pies are cabbage pies. The scent of cabbage pie gathers the whole family around the table. The pie is great for family gatherings over a cup of tea.

Yeast pie with cabbage

  • onion 1 pc.

  • chicken eggs (1 for greasing) 2 pcs.

Step 1
Wash the cabbage, dry it, cut off the thick veins. Chop the cabbage into thin strips.
Step 2
Peel, wash, dry onions and carrots. Cut into short strips.
Step 3
Fry the onions and carrots in oil until lightly blush.
Step 4
Add chopped cabbage. Cover and simmer for 10 - 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Open the lid and continue extinguishing. Add tomato paste, salt, pepper, mix. Cool the filling.
Step 5
For dough, combine warm milk, sugar, 3 tbsp. l. flour, yeast. Leave to rise for 0.5 h.
Step 6
Beat the egg with salt, add rast. oil. Put the egg-oil mixture into the dough.
Step 7
Gradually add the sifted flour. Knead the dough well. Let it come up 2 times, each time settling the dough.
Step 8
Divide the dough into 2 unequal parts (leave a small piece for decoration), roll both parts into circles.
Step 9
Remove the cake from the oven, brush with butter. Allow the cake to cool slightly in a baking dish, then place on a large flat dish. Serve and cut into portions. Here I have not shown the pie in a cut, because it was meant to be a gift to friends.
