Baked potatoes with herbs
Such baked potatoes may well be a separate meal - or a hearty side dish for any meat, poultry or fish.
Ingredients
- 1 kg of potatoes
- 5 sprigs of thyme and rosemary
- 2 heads of garlic
- 6 tbsp. l. extra virgin olive oil
- salt, freshly ground black pepper
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Wash the potatoes thoroughly with a brush or steel wool. Do not peel.
Step 2
Slice the potatoes lengthwise into 2 cm slices. Spread the potatoes evenly over the baking dish. It is good to use ceramic or glass - in this you can serve potatoes on the table.
Step 3
Remove the thyme and rosemary leaves from the stems and sprinkle them more or less evenly over the potatoes.
Step 4
Disassemble the garlic into cloves, do not peel. Spread the garlic cloves between the potato slices. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle the potatoes generously with olive oil and place in the preheated oven.
Step 5
After 15 minutes, reduce the temperature to 180 ° C and bake for another 25 minutes, until the potatoes are tender.
