Classic crap
One of the most popular recipes for horseradish infusion is horseradish on honey with lemon juice, which give it a slightly yellowish color, bright aroma and pleasant aftertaste.
Ingredients
- 100 g fresh horseradish root
- 4 tsp fragrant liquid honey (lime is best)
- 2 tbsp. l. freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 liter of vodka
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Peel horseradish, cut into thin slices. Let it dry on a plate for a couple of hours, uncovered, to remove excess moisture.
Step 2
Put the horseradish in a jar, add honey, lemon juice, pour in a glass of vodka and stir well so that the honey practically dissolves.
Step 3
Top up the rest of the vodka, close the jar tightly with a removable lid and leave in a dark, cool place (in a closet or cellar) for a week. Every day the jar needs to be opened and the contents mixed. But you can just shake it hard.
Step 4
Strain the tincture first through a sieve, then through two or three layers of gauze or a coffee filter, so that it is completely transparent.
Step 5
Pour the tincture into a bottle, cork it and let it rest for 3-4 days.
