Cupcake with raisins for tea
An excellent recipe for a simple and very cute cake - you can bake it for yourself and your family, or you can serve it to your guests. Raisins can be replaced with any other dried fruit.
Ingredients
- 100 g small dark raisins
- zest and juice of 1 orange
- 150 g butter 82.5% fat
- 180 g of brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 330 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- pinch of baking soda
- a pinch of sea salt
- butter and flour for the mold
- powdered sugar for serving
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Preheat oven to 160 ° C. Pour orange juice over the raisins and leave for 15-20 minutes.
Step 2
Bring the butter to room temperature and beat with sugar in a mixer until fluffy, light yellow. While beating, add eggs one by one, ensuring uniformity each time. Add salt and zest.
Step 3
As soon as the mass becomes homogeneous, add flour with baking powder and soda, followed by raisins. Mix thoroughly.
Step 4
Grease a rectangular cake pan with butter, flour and lay out the dough. Place in the oven. Bake the cake for 1 hour 20 minutes. Check the readiness of the cake as follows: pierce the center of the cake with a wooden skewer. If the skewer is dry, then the cake is ready.
Step 5
Once the cake has cooled, remove it from the mold. Sprinkle with powdered sugar through a strainer and serve.
