Fresh mackerel marinated in tea
Ingredients
- 1 liter of water
- 3 tbsp. teaspoons for black tea
- 3 tbsp. tablespoons of salt
- 3 st. spoons of sugar
- 2 large, fatty mackerels
- croutons, green salad, boiled or fried potatoes for serving
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Brew tea in 1 liter of boiling water. Add salt, sugar, stir and cool. Then strain through cheesecloth.
Step 2
Pour the marinade over a whole headless gutted fish so that the fish is completely covered and refrigerate for 4 days.
Step 3
Drain the marinade, put the fish in a colander, rinse from the tea and let it dry completely.
Step 4
Serve the fish toast, with green salad and boiled or fried potatoes. Wrap the remaining fish tightly in plastic wrap or store in a container. Store in the "dry fresh" zone for up to 1 week.
