Oatmeal jelly
Ingredients
  • 700 g oatmeal
  • crust from half a loaf of plain rye bread
  • a large handful of sprouted oatmeal
  • honey and dried fruit for serving

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Pour the oatmeal into a clean three-liter jar and pour 2 liters of warm (36–38 ° C) drinking water. Add sprouted grains and mix thoroughly. Cover the jar with a towel and leave at room temperature for 6–8 hours. At the same time, cut the crust off the bread and leave to dry at the same time.
Step 2
Add a crust of rye bread, broken into several pieces, to the jar, cover again and leave for a day.
Step 3
To prepare jelly, dilute the concentrate with drinking water in a ratio of 1: 2.5 and heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the jelly begins to boil. Turn off the heat, cover the jelly with a lid and let stand for 5 minutes. Serve with honey and dried fruit.
