Quick recipe - braids with chocolate spread
These braids look like they were prepared by a professional pastry chef. But the recipe is so simple that even a child can handle them. And even if you don't have chocolate spread on hand, just brush the dough with thick jam or just sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. It will be tasty anyway.
- 500 g of puff unleavened dough
- 1 cup of chocolate spread
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons sugar
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Defrost the puff pastry beforehand.
Preheat oven to 175 ° C. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
Divide the dough in half to make two rectangles. On each piece of dough, apply half a glass of chocolate paste, stepping back 2.5 cm from the edges.Starting with the long side of the rectangle, roll up two tight rolls.
Cut the roll in half lengthwise, join the ends and twist the pieces together. Repeat with the second roll.
Place the braids on a baking sheet. Beat the egg and brush over the braids. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown. Cool the finished braids a little, and then cut.
