STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
For dough: mix warm water, sugar, yeast and flour, knead the dough, cover with foil and leave for two hours to rise, the dough will approximately triple.
Step 2
For the dough: grind the egg, yolk with sugar, add soft butter, mix well, pour in prepared dough, gradually add sifted flour mixed with salt. Knead into a smooth soft dough. Cover with foil and leave to rise for about 1 hour, then knead the dough and leave to rise.
Step 3
Then divide the dough into equal parts (I have 12) and spread out in forms greased with butter. Let it stand for about 40-60 minutes. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 ° until tender, about 30 minutes. Remove the women from the oven and carefully remove from the molds, cool upside down. Let the women rest for a few hours, and then soak in the syrup. Baked in 100 ml metal muffin tins.
Step 4
For syrup: bring water and sugar to a boil, boil for a couple of minutes, turn off the fire, add rum essence, cool. Make a puncture at the bottom of the broads with a wooden skewer and lower each woman into the syrup for 2 minutes or even more, put the soaked grandmas on the wire rack.
Step 5
For glaze: mix about 15-20 ml of boiled water, a few drops of lemon juice and 100 grams of powdered sugar. Add water to the powder in portions ... to the desired consistency. Glaze the babas.
