Catfish with nut sauce
Ingredients
- catfish - 2 kg
- lemon juice
- 4-6 cloves of garlic
- Bay leaf
- 200 g walnut kernels
- 100 g cilantro
- 2 tbsp. l. white wine vinegar
- salt pepper
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Gut a whole catfish weighing about 2 kg, cut off the tail and head, cut the fish into fillets, cut from the skin. Cut the fillet into portions, salt and pepper, sprinkle with lemon juice, let sit for 20 minutes.
Step 2
For the sauce, grind 200 g of walnut kernels with 100 g of cilantro with the roots into a paste in a food processor. Season with 2 tbsp. l. white wine vinegar, salt and pepper.
Step 3
Put the fish on a dish, cover with nut sauce, let it brew for 5-7 minutes. And serve.
