Chicken soup with processed cheese and garlic croutons
A simple but delicious recipe for cheese soup with chicken fillet and aromatic garlic croutons.
Ingredients
- chicken fillet 400 g
- potatoes 400 g
- processed cheese 200 g
- parsley 1 bunch (s)
- bread 200 g
- onion 1 pc.
- garlic (cloves) 5-6 pcs.
- Bay leaf
- black pepper
- allspice
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Let's start with the broth. Place fillet, onion, 2 cloves of garlic, peppercorns (pot volume 2.5 l) in a saucepan. After boiling, cook for 15-20 minutes. If the chicken fillet is small, then 12-15 minutes will be enough.
Step 2
Cut potatoes, melted cheese (can be grated), bread into cubes.
Step 3
For croutons: fry the sliced bread in a mixture of butter and vegetable oils.
Step 4
Pass the garlic through a garlic press or grate it, or simply chop it finely with a knife. To mince the garlic further and get more garlic juice, I sprinkle with a pinch of salt and sugar and chop with a knife. As a result, we get a garlic paste.
