Apple scones
Ingredients
  • flour 120 g
  • oat bran 40 g
  • baking powder 1 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • salt 1 pinch (s)
  • cane sugar 25 g
  • butter 55 g
  • yogurt 100 ml
  • egg 1 pc.
  • apple 1 pc.
  • apple juice 1 tbsp
  • icing sugar 80 g
  • 1 pinch (s) nutmeg

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Mix egg and yogurt separately. Add egg-yoghurt mixture with butter-flour mixture. Mix gently. Knead a little with your hands, add an apple, grated on a coarse grater, knead the dough.
Step 2
Put the dough on a floured surface, roll it into a disc and cut into 8 sectors. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and oiled with vegetable oil. Bake preheated to 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
Step 3
For the icing, mix apple juice with powdered sugar and nutmeg. Pour glaze over the slightly cooled scones. I sprinkled half of the scones with icing sugar.
