- honey
- 450 g flour
- 250 g softened butter
- 125 g icing sugar
- 1 egg
- a pinch of salt
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Sift flour. Put butter and icing sugar in a bowl and mix with a mixer on low speed. Add the egg and stir. Add 3/4 of the flour and stir quickly.
Step 2
Add the remaining flour little by little until you get a soft dough (you may not need all of the flour). Mix quickly and place the dough on a floured work surface.
Step 3
Knead the dough several times and assemble into a ball. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Step 4
Cut off half of the dough and roll out into a thin layer. Cut out circles 3 cm larger than the diameter of the molds.
Step 5
Pour the dough into molds, press well. Roll with a rolling pin around the edge and remove excess dough. Prick the dough with a fork.
Step 6
Place the baskets in an oven preheated to 175 ° C and bake for 10 minutes, the baskets should not change color.
Step 7
Place the almonds in a food processor bowl and pulse until finely crumbled. Open the bowl periodically and scrape off the sides with a spatula. Transfer to a bowl.
Step 8
Put walnuts in a bowl and grind in the "pulse" mode until they become coarse. Transfer to the almonds. Add the icing sugar and stir.
Step 9
Beat the eggs separately and gradually pour into the nut mixture, stir well. You should have a soft paste.
Step 10
Spread the nut filling on the baskets, smooth the surface. Garnish with almonds and walnut halves.
Step 11
Return the baskets to the oven and bake for another 12 minutes. Cool the finished baskets a little, and then remove from the molds.
Step 12
Melt some honey and use a brush to apply to the nuts. Serve chilled completely.
