Caramel cupcakes
Not so long ago I saw the recipe for these amazing cupcakes. To say that they are delicious is to say nothing ... They are insanely tasty! Delicate caramel dough with delicious salted caramel and a cap of delicious cream will not leave anyone indifferent, who will try them at least once. Therefore, when drawing up the New Year's menu, our whole family unanimously said - there are cupcakes!
Ingredients
- cream 33% (for caramel) 150 ml
- sugar (for caramel) 150 g
- butter (for caramel) 25 g
- salt (for caramel) 0.5 tsp
- flour (for dough) 130 g
- sugar (for dough) 90 g
- butter (for dough) 80 g
- milk (for dough) 50 ml
- chicken eggs (for dough) 2 pcs.
- baking powder (for dough) 1 tsp
- salted caramel (for dough) 60 g
- cream cheese (for cream) 400 g
- cream 33% (for cream) 200 ml
- icing sugar (for cream) 80 g
- food coloring
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Pour sugar into a saucepan and put on medium heat, at the same time pour cream into another saucepan and put on fire. They must be brought to a boil, but not boiled.
Step 2
Once the sugar is completely dissolved, add softened butter and half a teaspoon of salt.
Step 3
The mass will boil violently. Mix carefully and quickly until smooth.
Step 4
Pour in hot cream and mix gently again until smooth and put on fire.
Step 5
Boil the caramel for 5 minutes over low heat.
Step 6
Pour the finished caramel into a container (but you don't have to) and let it cool to room temperature.
Step 7
For cupcakes, grind the softened butter until white with sugar. Then add eggs one by one, beat thoroughly each time.
Step 8
Pour part of the flour sifted with baking powder into the mixture and pour in milk, at room temperature. Mix everything.
Step 9
Pour the rest of the flour into the dough, mix everything. Add cooled caramel.
Step 10
While the finished cupcakes are cooling, prepare the cream. To do this, mix cream, icing sugar and butter cream in a bowl. Beat everything thoroughly until stable peaks.
Step 11
Add a couple of drops of food coloring and beat again until smooth.
Step 12
Place the cream on the cap-shaped cupcakes and decorate to your liking.
