Deep-fried zucchini
Ingredients
- 4 young squash
- milk
- crackers
- dried thyme
- vegetable oil for deep fat
- salt
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Cut the zucchini into 7-9 cm long cubes without peeling them.
Step 2
Taste the crackers. If they are not too salty, add salt. Mix them with ground thyme.
Step 3
Place the breadcrumbs on a large flat plate or cutting board. Dip the zucchini sticks first in the milk and then roll in breadcrumbs.
Step 4
Heat oil in a saucepan or wok. Dip the zucchini in small batches in oil and fry for 2-3 minutes. until golden brown and crispy. Spread out on paper towels. Serve with steaks.
