Honey chicken legs with dill and sesame seeds
Chicken legs can be used to make excellent snacks for a fun company, take with you to a picnic or just crunch in front of the TV while watching a horror movie. I like to add honey or demerara to chicken marinades, firstly, it turns out a wonderful ruddy crust, and secondly, an amazing sweetish taste and aroma, suitable for chicken, wings or, as in this recipe, legs. The paws turned out with a light aroma of dill and garlic, glazed with tomato ketchup with sesame seeds. Yummy!
Ingredients
- chicken paws 300 gr
- garlic marinade TM maheev 3-4 tbsp
- ketchup Tatarsky TM Maheev 3-4 tbsp
- honey 1 tbsp.
- starch 1-2 tsp
- dry dill 1 tsp
- black pepper to taste
- sesame seeds 1-2 tablespoons
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Wash the chicken legs well, trim the claws and soak in water for 15 minutes. Then dry and marinate in a mixture of TM Maheev garlic marinade, Tatarsky TM Maheev ketchup, honey, dry dill and pepper. I don't put salt, it's enough in the marinade. Honey gives it a sweet taste, so be warned if you don't really like it. In this case, put less honey. Marinate from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Step 2
Put the paws in a pan with sunflower oil in one layer (no marinade) and fry over medium heat under the lid. Juice will be released, extinguishing will take place in it. When the juice has evaporated, the legs will begin to fry. They need to be turned over to the other side. Make sure that they do not burn, but only brown. When the skin on the legs begins to burst in some places, then they are ready.
Step 3
Do not pour out the marinade in which the legs were marinated. Dissolve the starch in it and add another 1 tbsp. ketchup Tatarsky TM Maheev.
Step 4
Pour marinade and starch over the browned paws, mix and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Cover and cook for another 2-3 minutes, so that the starch is brewed and covered with a delicate frosting.
