Lahmadjun
Lahmajun is a Turkish pizza. A popular variation of Turkish fast food.
Ingredients
- flour 3 glass (s)
- warm water 1 glass (s)
- yeast 11 g
- salt 1.5 tsp
- sugar 1 tsp.
- vegetable oil 1 tbsp
- beef or lamb meat 600 g
- bell pepper 1 pc.
- onions 1 pc.
- hot pepper 0.5 pcs.
- cumin 1 tsp.
- ground garlic 1 tsp
- sum of 1 tsp.
- tomato paste 2 tsp
- red onion 1 pc.
- parsley 1 bunch (s)
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
For the dough, sift the flour, mix with salt (0.5 tsp), sugar and yeast. Pour in warm water and vegetable oil. Knead the dough. Knead for at least 5 minutes. The dough is soft and elastic in consistency. Grease a bowl with vegetable oil, lay out the dough, cover with foil and leave in a warm place for 1 hour to rise.
Step 2
For the filling, twist the meat in a meat grinder. For minced meat, beef or lamb is used, you can take mixed minced meat. Chop red hot peppers, herbs, bell peppers, onions. Add to the minced meat. Season with salt (1 tsp), add cumin, ground garlic and tomato paste. Mix.
