Thai tortilla with banana

Banana flatbread is perhaps the most popular Thai dessert. And the real street food: in Thailand, it is prepared on the street, on a mobile stove. If you are not a fan of very sweet pastries, exclude sugar and powdered sugar from the recipe - it will still turn out very tasty.

Thai tortilla with banana
Ingredients
  • yeast-free puff pastry - 80 g
  • vegetable oil - 10 ml
  • butter - 15 g
  • peeled bananas - 70 g
  • sugar - 5 g
  • condensed milk - 20 g
  • mint - 2 g
  • icing sugar - 0.5 g

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Defrost the dough, roll it out thinly with a rolling pin. Cut a circle with a diameter of 20 cm.
Step 2
Cut the banana into rings.
Step 3
In a frying pan with heated vegetable oil on minimal heat, fry the dough on each side for 2 minutes until fully cooked. Remove from heating.
Step 4
Put butter in the same frying pan and fry the bananas (about 30-40 seconds). Add sugar, stir and fry for another 30 seconds.
Step 5
Put the fried bananas on one half of the flatbread. Roll the stuffed flatbread in half in the shape of a crescent and cut across into 6 pieces.
Step 6
Pour condensed milk into a plate and carefully place the banana cake on top. Pour condensed milk on top and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Decorate the dish with fresh mint leaves.
