Bread pockets with salad
This is not a sandwich or a sandwich, this is a "bread pocket" where you can put your favorite salad and take it with you. Or you can cook it for a group of friends who are about to descend. Be prepared for any situation. Even if something "did not work out" that evening, then such "pockets" will fulfill the role of a hearty breakfast the next day.
Ingredients
- wheat baguette 1 pc.
- rye baguette 1 pc.
- peeled shrimp 150 g
- fresh cucumber 9-11 cm 1 pc.
- fresh dill 1 tbsp
- lemon juice 1 tbsp
- capers 1 tsp.
- lettuce leaf 4 pcs.
- mayonnaise "Maheev" with lemon juice 3 tbsp.
- mustard "Maheev" Russian 1 tsp
- vegetable oil 2 tbsp
- chicken fillet 200 g
- cornices 5-6 cm 2 pcs.
- fresh tomato 1 pc.
- green onion 1 tbsp
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Prepare shrimp salad. To do this, mix the shrimp with lemon juice. Postpone. Divide the cucumber in half. Remove the seed part. Chop it into thin strips. Chop the dill. Fry the shrimps in olive oil for 1 min.
Step 2
Place shrimp, cucumber, dill and capers in a bowl. Add 1 tbsp. mayonnaise "Maheev" with lemon juice. Mix gently.
Step 3
Prepare another salad. To do this, cut the chicken fillet into thin strips 3x3 cm in size. Salt. Fry in oil until golden brown. Chop the gherkins into thin strips and the onions into rings. Remove the seed from the tomato and chop the pulp into cubes.
Step 4
In a separate bowl, prepare the chicken salad dressing. To do this, mix 2 tbsp. mayonnaise "Maheev" with 1 tsp. mustard "Maheev" "Russian".
Step 5
Combine all ingredients and stir.
Step 6
Divide the baguettes in half. Take out some crumb. Press the rest against the walls. Place a leaf of lettuce in each of the halves. Put chicken salad in one part of wheat bread, tamping slightly with a spoon. The other part is a salad with shrimps. Do the same with rye bread.
Step 7
Place the filled bread pockets vertically in a suitable dish and serve. If you want to take it with you, pack it in plastic wrap or foil, or place in a food container.
