Cauliflower casserole

Cauliflower goes well with any cheese, be it soft or hard. The recipe for this casserole is not so simple, but the result will be excellent.

Cauliflower casserole
Ingredients
  • 1 kg cauliflower
  • 1 tsp salts
  • 375 ml of milk
  • 170 g cream cheese
  • 1 ½ tsp curry
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • 170 g mozzarella (30 g on top of the casserole)
  • 170 g Cheddar cheese

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Preheat oven to 180 C. Place cauliflower in a large bowl, season with ¼ tsp. salt. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap, poke a few small holes in it with a knife and microwave for 10 minutes on high power.
Step 2
Carefully remove the cling film and place the cauliflower in a colander, allowing it to cool to room temperature.
Step 3
Milk, cream cheese, curry, mustard and 1 tsp. Cook the salts in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, until smooth, about 4 minutes. Let cool to room temperature, about 30 minutes. Add cauliflower, mozzarella and Cheddar cheese, stir well.
Step 4
Place the resulting mass in a dish, cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes (if the dish is small, reduce the cooking time to 30 minutes).
Step 5
Remove the casserole, lightly sprinkle with cheddar cheese on top and cook in the oven for another 2-3 minutes.
