Dip of three cheeses and spinach in a bread loaf

Dip of three cheeses and spinach in a bread loaf
Ingredients
  • 200 g brie cheese
  • 200 g mozzarella
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 150g frozen spinach
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • half a small onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 tbsp. l. flour
  • 1 glass of milk
  • 3 tbsp. l. sour cream
  • 1 tsp Worcester sauce
  • 1/4 tsp ground paprika
  • a pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsp. l. butter
  • salt, freshly ground black pepper

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Step 1
Defrost the spinach beforehand.
Step 2
Preheat oven to 200 ° C. Place the bell peppers on a wire rack and bake for 20 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and cover, set aside for 10 minutes. Then peel and remove seeds. Cut the pulp into cubes.
Step 3
Cut the rind off the brie cheese and cut into small pieces. Grate the mozzarella on a coarse grater.
Step 4
Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Melt the butter in a skillet and sauté the onion and garlic until soft. Add flour and fry, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes. Reduce heat to medium and pour in milk in a thin stream, stirring the sauce constantly. Add all the spices and Worcestershire sauce, bring to a boil and cook for about 3 minutes until the sauce thickens. Add sour cream.
Step 5
Squeeze the spinach well and add to the sauce along with the pepper.
Step 6
Set aside 2 tbsp. l. each cheese, and add the rest to the sauce and stir well.
Step 7
Cut off the top of the loaf of white bread and cut the crumb in the center. Fill the loaf with the dip and sprinkle with the remaining cheeses on top. Place the loaf on a baking sheet and place in an oven preheated to 175 ° C. Cook 15-20 minutes until all the cheese is melted.
Step 8
Remove the dip from the oven and leave for at least 5 minutes. Serve with crackers or breadsticks.
